SUMMARY:Non-Lead Ammunition Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has been developing efforts to encourage voluntary choice of lead-free hunting ammunition and other best management practices. To facilitate these efforts WDFW has invited North American Non-Lead Partnership to host several modern hunting ammunition workshops with WDFW staff\, cooperating agencies\, and public stakeholder group leaders. The Partnership is a group of hunters and wildlife conservation professionals that are committed to sharing with the public and fish & wildlife conservation professionals about the best available science on modern hunting ammunition\, lead\, and wildlife and choices that hunters can make to voluntarily address unintentional lead poisoning in scavenging wildlife. \nThis type of workshop has been conducted across North America\, and we are excited to have this opportunity for WDFW to be hosting the Partnership on July 12th to conduct a similar workshop.
